Stacie Knit Dress Happy New Year! Here’s wishing you all the best in 2010! All the holiday festivities found me wishing for something new and unique to wear to friends’ drop-in parties, and the more gala affairs. So . . . back to Naive! Found just the right little knit dress for an early evening dinner with friends and the various open-house gatherings. The STACIE dress comes in a nice selection of colors but, I picked the green for the holidays, and because I could wear my dear Sis’ delightful Holly & Ivy jewelry set with it. I heard a lot of nice compliments and this little number will be a regular outfit for me, even after the holidays!

I have a New Years Resolution to go dancing more! And I found a perfect new dancing dress to motivate me to keep that resolution! The CLAIRE dress from Naive is an eye-catching piece, with it’s delicately placed floral design at the somewhat daring bodice, and the fascinating asymmetric skirt with the irregular edge highlighting the top skirt opening. But, take to the dance floor to really see why this is a new favorite for me. The skirt floats and swirls so naturally.

.: Naive :. Modeling Contest – October 2009

Here’s your chance to do all two! Beginning on October 11, 2009, you have a chance to become a Naïve Girl/Guy! What is a Naïve Girl/Guy? As a Naïve Girl/Guy you get a chance to model new releases for Naïve in our print ads. You’re also able to blog not only Naïve clothes but other designers on our official Naïve website (http://www.naivesl.com) which feeds the most important SL Fashion Feeds.

The rules of the contest are simple. These are the following requirements.:

1.) You have to take at least two pictures of yourself mixing and matching clothes from Naïve so we can see your personal style. You’re allowed to use items from other stores, but the majority of the outfit must be from Naïve.

2.) You have to write a brief description of what the outfit is and why you chose to put this particular outfit together. Please also include which stores you bought the items from. After you’ve written the mock blog, include a paragraph as to why we should pick you to be a Naïve Girl/Guy. The mock blog write up and paragraph altogether should be at least 200 words. You may write it in English or Spanish.

3.) Once you’ve done all of that, title your note card as: “Naïve Girl/Guy – Your First and Last Name here” and send it Clear Canning, Naïve’s Store Manager. And yes males are allowed to enter the contest as well considering we do cater to men’s apparel.

THIS CONTEST RUNS FROM OCTOBER 11, 2009 TO OCTOBER 18, 2009 WITH WINNERS SHORTLY TO FOLLOW.

We will announce the top three winners to become Naïve Girls/Guys as well as winning the following:

1st place winning 3K in gift cards
2nd place winning 2K in gift cards
3rd place winning 1K in gift cards

Naive Contest – June 2009

This month the contest is different and more FUN! You can participate alone or with you best friends!!!!!

Yes! It’s very simple:

Take 2 pictures of you or your group of friends wearing your favorite Naive outfits. Or, you can ask your favorite photographer to take the pictures for you!! All participants will receive the full prize (the photographer included)!! Oh, and guys are welcomed to participate too!!

Send a notecard to Leah McCullough with the following information:

Explain what is your favorite thing about Naive
List all the items you are wearing in the pic:

*Rules*

- Maximum number of people in the picture 3 + photographer
- If you are taking the pics with friends, only one person should send the entries.
- No nudity or pornography
- Pictures should be full perm (copy, modify, transfer)
- 3 entries max. per person or group (you can send up to 3 notecards with different outfits in each one!!)
- You may edit or enhance your pics
- Everybody in the pics needs to wear Naive items (mix-and-match, a dress, underwear, poses, etc). This means that at least one item has to be from Naive on each person.
- If the photographer is in the pics, he/she will not receive the prize twice.
