Textile Art Museum at Caravane

Let me introduce myself. I am KymSara, Naïve’s Girl Next Door. Just call me Kym. I’ll be bringing my occasional notes on Naïve fashion releases, special places I’ve found and interesting folks I’ve met. I am a model, photographer and quilter, and today I want to talk quilt stuff! Is there a quilter on the grid who could actually resist this charming little patchwork mini from Naive? Certainly not THIS one! I snapped up the Lolita skirt right away, and it drew ooohs and ahhs when I wore it to the next guild meeting. Paired with the green Polo Tee set, also from Naïve, it makes a comfortable casual outfit but, I couldn’t resist adding the Naive ankle socks and the Chunky Mary Janes from Evoke, for a bit more of a unique look. This shot is taken in front of the Textile Art Museum at Caravane. Here you can see exhibits of quilts from award-winning RL quilters and visit several interesting quilt shops. Definitely worth a visit. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caravane/236/176/34

Zoe Dress

The Zoe Dress from Naïve is as soft and cool as a morning mist! I chose the yellow – named mainly for the color of the high waist band – because the coordinating fabric colors just happened to match the Sara’s Star jewelry set that my SL sister, Sequoia, created from a quilt, which I designed. (see the detail insert) And the color-change wedge sandals from Mischief Cove were easily set to match, rounding out a perfect garden party ensemble. Leah added a special touch with this little dress. In addition to providing us her typical multi-layer options, she also included two flexi versions of the skirt; a soft float and regular flexi.
